We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our family and extend our presence in the Legal/Finance for Hong Kong.
We are looking for someone with a global outlook, a go-getter, robust, resilient and a team player. The Business Development Manager is a key growth role for ECI’s business in the assigned territory. The sales expert will be responsible for developing a new client acquisition strategy, pursuing and winning new business, and for developing longer-term strategic relationships in the respective market.
Job Description
- Identify and generate sales opportunities through activities, partners, networking, cold calling campaigns and effective messaging;
- Call on and close deals with new and existing customers through prospection, client referrals, and direct marketing activities;
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to generate new businesses and exceed sales targets;
- Prepare and arrange presentations to target customers and to demonstrate to prospects how EC Innovations can add value;
- Develop a thorough understanding and commercial acumen of the marketplace including customer needs and business strategies;
- Demonstrate consultative selling approach and articulate on how solutions offered by EC Innovations benefit clients;
- Engage with prospects and clients to identify their requirements and potential business opportunities. Meet and present customized project solutions and cost estimates.
- Foster strong client relationships at Senior levels;
- Provide regular prospecting activity and sales reports, sales forecasts and to keep pipeline records;
- Work closely with different team members in the development and implementation of prospects and new clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensure overall client satisfaction with services and products provided;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Language, Business, Marketing, or any relevant discipline
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in Language Services or related industries
- Strong experience in business development and portfolio management in Legal/Finance domain
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex project requirements and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- A self-starter with ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
